You do the training. We take care of the programming, progression and coaching.

What Is Structure exercise programming

How does it work?

The Strong Again Method

What is structured exercise programming?

There's a big difference between being given exercises and having your training properly programmed.

Clinical exercise advice can be an important part of recovery. It can help you understand your problem, manage symptoms and identify exercises that are appropriate for you.

But what happens next?

  • When do you increase the weight?

  • How many sets should you do?

  • How hard should you work?

  • When should an exercise change?

  • How does your rehab fit alongside the rest of your training?

How do you build enough strength and fitness to get back to skiing, biking, hiking, running, the gym or sport?

That's where proper exercise programming comes in.

We don't just give you exercises.

We build the plan that progressively takes you from where you are now to what you want your body to be capable of.

Designed for:

Active adults who’ve been sidelined by chronic pain, injury or long time off training

  • Weekend warriors & outdoor lovers who want to return to mountain life, stronger than before

  • People who are tired of winging it, flaring up or starting over again and again

Clinical exercise advice can help you understand what exercises may be appropriate right now.

Our exercise programming goes further.

We assess where you are, understand where you want to get to, build the training in between, monitor how you're responding and progressively adjust the plan as your capacity improves.

You don't have to figure out what to do next. That's our job.

Exercises vs a structured training programme

How we plan and progress your training

It's a structured training plan built specifically around you, your body, your goals and what you want to get back to doing.

Good programming considers the bigger picture:

  • your current strength and fitness

  • your injury and training history

  • what your body can currently tolerate

  • what you want to get back to doing

  • how often you can realistically train

  • what equipment you have available

  • what other activities you're doing

  • how you're responding to training

We then turn that information into a structured training week.

You'll know:

What to do. How much to do. How hard to work. When to progress.

And importantly, your program doesn't stay the same. As you get stronger, fitter and more capable, your training progresses with you.

Who is exercise rehabilitation for?

One of the biggest gaps we see is what happens after rehab but before you feel ready for normal training and life.

Your pain might have improved. You might have been told your injury has healed. You might have completed your rehab exercises.

But that doesn't necessarily mean you're ready to load up a barbell, spend six hours in the mountains, get back on your bike, return to running or play your sport again.

So instead of only asking: "What exercise should I do for my knee?"

We ask:"What does your knee, and the rest of your body, need to be capable of for you to do the things you want to do?"

Then we progressively train towards it.

The goal isn't simply to finish rehab.

The goal is to build a body that's capable of doing what you want it to do.

How does online programming work?

Online programming doesn't mean downloading a generic workout, following a template or being emailed a PDF of exercises.

Your coach programs your training for you.

Your personalised program is delivered through our training app.

When it's time to train, you open the app and know exactly what you're doing.

Your sessions can include:

  • exercises

  • sets and reps

  • weights and intensity targets

  • rest periods

  • exercise demonstrations

  • coaching instructions

  • progressions

You record your training as you go, allowing us to see how you're progressing.

If you're unsure about an exercise or want us to check your technique, you can upload a video for feedback.

We use your training data, feedback and progress to make adjustments as needed.

You're completing the training independently but you're not programming it independently.

That's the difference.

Why we coach this way

An appointment gives us a snapshot of how you're doing on one particular day.

Your training shows us what's happening throughout the rest of your week.

And that's where long-term change happens.

Building strength, fitness and physical capacity requires consistent training and progression over weeks and months.

Our approach means we can guide what you're doing between appointments, rather than simply giving you exercises and waiting until the next time we see you.

If you're local, we can combine your programmed training with face-to-face coaching and assessments when they're valuable.

If you're further away, your programming, check-ins and coaching can be delivered remotely.

In person when you need us. A clear training plan between sessions.

THE STRONG AGAIN METHOD

From feeling held back by your body to feeling strong, capable and confident again.

The Strong Again Method is our approach to helping active adults rebuild their physical capacity after pain, injury or time away from training.

Rather than jumping straight from rehab back into normal training, we progressively build the strength, fitness and confidence your body needs for the activities that matter to you.

BUILD → PERFORM → FORTIFY

  • Stage 1: BUILD

Lay the foundation for strength, movement and confidence.

This phase is all about getting you back on your feet safely and steadily. We focus on restoring functional movement, building core strength, and addressing the root causes of pain or inconsistency.

You’ll get a clear plan, expert guidance and early wins that build momentum fast.

    Key outcomes:

    Reduced pain and flare-ups

    Improved mobility and movement control

Confidence to train again without second-guessing

  • Stage 2: PERFORM

Train for strength, endurance and outdoor performance.

Now that your foundation is solid, we shift into performance mode. You'll train for real-world strength not just lifts in the gym, but movement that translates to hiking, skiing, climbing and everyday life.

We tailor your programming to your goals, your gear and your lifestyle and push performance without pushing injury.

    Key outcomes:

    Increased strength, stamina and energy

Confidence in your body under load and effort

More capability outdoors and in life

  • Stage 3: FORTIFY

Stay strong, pain-free and adventure-ready long term.

In this phase, we focus on keeping your progress for life. You’ll learn how to train consistently, adjust when life gets busy, and stay resilient season after season.

You won’t just have a strong body. You’ll have the tools, systems and support to keep it that way with or without a coach.

    Key outcomes:

    Lifelong training habits

Reduced risk of injury or burnout

Freedom to keep doing what you love outdoors without limits
